I don't understand. Why do they have to be IN the picture with the guard? Just take a picture OF the guard. You know the guard wants to use that saber on the people grabbing the reins. lol

I remember a visit commenting about there being a ridiculous number of signs about not grabbing the reins of the horses. Once RUclips came, I realized why…..stupid is everywhere.

Chewing and licking could be a sign of a horse getting relaxed while exercise, but in this situation i would say its stressful, that impacts the saliva in his mouth due to adrenaline and its a sign of discomfort.
